How to convert HEIC to PDF

  1. Choose your photos with the button above, or drag them onto the box. They go into the PDF in the order you add them.
  2. Check that PDF is selected, then open Options:
    • PDF: "All photos in one PDF" or "One PDF per photo".
    • Page size: "Fit each photo" (each page is the size of its photo), Letter or A4.
    • Quality: lower it for a smaller PDF, raise it for sharper prints.
  3. Download. A combined PDF downloads as one file. One PDF per photo comes as a ZIP, with each PDF named after its photo.

Nothing is uploaded. The conversion runs inside this browser tab, and the page is only allowed to talk to this website. To check, load the page, turn on Airplane Mode, and convert: it still works. How it works shows the full proof.

Combine HEIC photos into one PDF

A combined PDF is the easy way to send a set of pictures as one file. Common uses:

  • Receipts and expense reports. Snap each receipt, then send one PDF to your bookkeeper.
  • School and job forms. Many portals take a single PDF upload, not a pile of photos.
  • Signed papers and IDs. Photograph each page, then turn the pages into one document.
  • Insurance and rental claims. Put every photo of the damage in one file.

Pick Letter if the PDF will be printed in the US or Canada, and A4 for most other countries. Each photo is placed on its own page and scaled to fit, so nothing is cropped. Fit each photo gives pages the same shape as the photos, which looks best on screen.

How big will the PDF be?

A PDF holds each photo as a JPG inside it, so its size is close to the size of the same photos as JPG files. On our test Mac on 29 October 2026, a combined PDF of three test photos came out at about 2.5 MB in Chrome.

To make a PDF smaller for email or an upload form:

Change Effect
Lower Quality to 70 or 75 Much smaller file, still clear on screen
Set Max size to 2048 pixels Smaller file, still sharp on a Letter or A4 page
Set Max size to 1080 pixels Smallest, best for viewing on a phone

Questions

How do I combine HEIC files into one PDF?

Add all the photos, keep PDF selected, and under Options choose "All photos in one PDF". You get one PDF with one photo on each page, in the order you added them.

Can I make a separate PDF for each photo?

Yes. Under Options, choose "One PDF per photo". They download together as one ZIP file, and each PDF keeps the name of its photo.

What page sizes can I choose?

Fit each photo (the page matches the photo), US Letter, or A4. Photos are scaled to fit the page and never cropped.

Are my photos uploaded to make the PDF?

No. The PDF is built inside your browser tab on your own device. The page can only connect back to this website, and it works with Airplane Mode on once loaded.

Is there a limit on how many photos go into one PDF?

There is no set limit. On a computer, a PDF of a few hundred photos is fine. On a phone, keep it to 50 to 100 photos at a time, because phones have less memory.

Is the HEIC to PDF converter free?

Yes: no account, no watermark, no limit and no ads.

Can I make a PDF from HEIC photos on my iPhone?

Yes. Open this page in Safari on the iPhone and use it the same way. The NoHEIC iPhone app can also make a combined PDF straight from the Photos share sheet.
